GDC machine for motorcycle wheel
The automatic casting system for Al. alloy motorcycle alloy wheels consists of robot casting system, GDC machines and safety guards, etc., which can meet motorcycle alloy wheels production well. The Al. liquid pouring will be done by robot and other processes will be done manually. The mature specification will be adopted and two GDC machines work as a team. Two GDC machines are laid by left-right structure and the main difference is the layout of guide pillars and operation cabinet. One operator controls two units of GDC machine and total three sets in one set of casting system.
The system consists of one casting robot and six units of GDC machine. When die locking finished in the GDC machine, operator gives a signal of pouring allowance, the robot will move to the holding furnace and ladle the Al. liquid, and then move to the casting position of GDC machine for Al. liquid pouring into die cavity automatically (compensation will be done manually). After casting finished, robot will give a signal, so left steps on the GDC machines will be done by operator. The average casting time of one GDC machine is controlled within 40s (including Al. liquid ladling, casting and return, max wait time was 10 Sec ), and including parts as below:
