Wanfeng Low pressure casting is a method of filling the cavity with liquid metal under pressure to form a casting. Because of the low pressure used, it is called low pressure casting. The process is as follows: In a sealed holding furnace, dry compressed air is introduced, and the molten metal rises along the riser pipe under the action of gas pressure, enters the cavity smoothly through the gate, and maintains the liquid level in the holding furnace The pressure on the gas will continue until the casting is completely solidified. Then the gas pressure on the liquid surface is released, and the fluid molten metal in the riser pipe flows into the holding furnace, and then the oil cylinder opens the mold and ejects the casting.
The process yield of molten metal is improved. Under normal circumstances, a riser is not needed, which greatly improves the yield of molten metal, which can generally reach 90%.
